Lives. Of thousands of employees who have played a key role over the past 150 years of our various companies. There are countless stories, some extremely meaningful, others faits divers. Intertwined across thin layers, they have built the Amorim Group of today and underpin our future. We are deeply proud of this human heritage. Lives filled with joy, difficulties, work, rewards, sacrifices and conquests. Above all, lives of dedication and commitment.
In this milestone year in the Amorim Group's history, it’s essential to remember each of our employees who since 1870 have helped us along the way. It is time to remember everyone who has made this journey with us. Absolutely everyone!
We therefore decided to ask thirty employees to share their memories, impressions and judgments about their lives and the Group. This is the basis for the book “Traços de Gente” (Traces of People) which contains life stories and pays tribute to all the women and men who have shared good and bad times, successes and failures with us, and have always stood by us and given their best. The stories of these employees reflect different eras, business cycles, cultures and also beliefs, feelings and emotions. They represent an undeniable social wealth and a human dimension that has marked our identity. Ultimately, these stories underline deep values of friendship, companionship, nostalgia and… People.
The Amorim Group, with the support of its employees, has confronted different moments, generations, wars, crises, successes and major challenges. We have built our past 150 years of history together. A dignified past and a promising future.
