In a significant move to strengthen investor relations, the inaugural “Capital Markets Day” successfully brought together Portuguese and International investors and analysts. The event commenced at Herdade de Rio Frio, where participants were briefed on the Forestry Intervention Project. This project has seen substantial investments aimed at increasing the number of cork oak trees per hectare, optimizing cork production, and enhancing biodiversity across the 5100 hectare property.
The initiative coincided with the cork harvesting period, providing the opportunity to witness the extraction process, one of the most highly skilled forestry activities.
The delegation visited Corticeiras Amorim’s main industrial units: Amorim Top Series’ new factories, Amorim Cork (highlighting the Naturity and Xpür technologies), the 3D Printing system form Amorim Cork Flooring, concluding with a visit to the factories and showroom of Amorim Cork Composites, exploring the potential of cork for the new applications.
